FAQ au pair insurance
The full amount for our au pair insurance can be paid by credit card, PayPal or you can pay by direct debit from an EU bank account.

Once you have purchased the au pair insurance and made your payment, we will email the proof of insurance. Usually, you receive the email shortly thereafter. Please check your spam folder as well. If it takes longer than expected, feel free to contact us and we will look into it.
Please inform us about your new return date at the earliest date possible so that we can review and inform you about the best insurance option for your situation. Send us an e-mail and we are happy to assist you.
Yes, upon written notification to CareMed you will receive a refund for the remaining period. Email us as soon as you return as we cannot backdate the reimbursement.
Prior to the start date you may cancel your au pair insurance with CareMed without any charge. Please login and send us your request of cancellation.
If the au pair continues the au pair year, au pair insurance can be kept. Remaining insurance premiums need to be paid by the new host family to the previous host family.
